The ship will depart from Cozumel in its inaugural route on October 26, only to return to Cozumel on the next sunday, as informed by Caribbean Tours.
The ship is announced as a luxury ship with a capacity of one thousand passengers. It will disembark / embark every Sunday from Punta Langosta International Pier. Its itinerary includes a Georgetown, Montego Bay, La Romana, Grand Turk and Nassau to before returning back to Cozumel Island after a seven day trip.
As informed, the cruise ship is mainly focused towards european tourists. Each week a flight inbound from Madrid, Spain will arrive, operated by Iberojet. Its passengers travel with the specific purpose of boarding Grand Voyager. It is expected that travellers will enjoy Cozumel Island's natural attractions before embarking.
According to the information, even though the service will be in guided in spanish, it is also open to general public that wants to tour the Caribbean Islands departing from Cozumel Island. With this in mind, Cozumel will therefore opearate as a Home Port to this vessel for at least four years, with an option to maintain this service indefinitely. (Source ; El Quintanarroense)
